With Sahara closing what about cheap gambling?

With the Sahara closing say goodbye to all the $1 Black Jack games in the city along with the $1 Shots and $1 Beers that they offered. So where can the low rollers go for cheap gambling?

There is plenty of spots around the city. But I want to talk about a spot today that most would not think of going. It's formerly The MAXIM Hotel and Casino, It was opened on July 1st, 1977 and yes this is where Tupac Shakur was gunned down in 1996. But don't let that scare you off, The casino closed in 1999 and in 2001 the rest of the resort was shut down.

In 2003 it was reopened as The Westin Casuarina Las Vegas Hotel, Casino & Spa. Major Renovations costing over 90 Million Dollars went into the resort. The Casino it self is very small, 300 Slot Machines and only 10 table games.

They offer 0.25 Cent Roulette Monday to Thursdays from 5pm untill 8pm They also have a weekly FREE Slot Tournament for there players that pays out the top 8 players. New Members get some free slot money to go along with another good deal at the casino. If you lose $50 within 24hours they will give you $50 in free slot play. All in all a very good place to do some gambling. This Casino is very quiet but does offer some very good drink service. Most of there customers are business type but that shouldnt stop you from getting in on some 25 cent roulette.

$10 should get you 40 Chips for Roulette and even if you lose that, you should be able to get yourself quite a few comp drinks while your there.
